Beautiful Weather and Then....

We got to the farm. Right before the storm hit. Really, it wasn't much of a storm. A little lightening, some thunder and a lot of rain. It is now 57 degrees and still raining. I had plans of a leisurely walk around the property, examining all the plantings. Oh well, there is always tomorrow :-). Supposed to be sunny & sixty. I'll take that. Steve plans to install an exterior door & then we will be going to a "green building fair" in town for a while. Somewhere in there, we will be drywalling, too. Right now, we are going to our favorite place "The Driftless Cafe" in Viroqua. Yummm...pizza.

Happy weekend at the farm. The green building fair sounds interesting. A new door, drywall installation and pizza, sounds balanced to me. :)

Tomorrow...a leisurely walk. Have fun.

Hey,

Karen and I are thinking about driving out to your neighborhood Saturday to do a little property search. Any tips? Can we meet while we're out there? We are considering movint the Gulland Broadfork world headquarters to the Crawford/Vernon/Richland area. You apparently think it's a good spot.

We have been looking over there for a few years, but dropped it for a while. We're thinking about it again.

Glad to see you made it to the farm. I know you were anxious to go. It has been beautiful here - 3 days of 80 degree weather. and a week of 70+ before that. The trees and flowers are just beautiful! Enjoy your time!!...debbie
