Well, I may be exaggerating about that :-)
But it is such a great thing to have. My thoughts are very fleeting these days. One second it's there, the next it's gone. So I just pull out the digital voice recorder & wa-la !
The thought is saved until I can write it down. My therapist suggested I get one a few months ago, but I kept forgetting about it :-( .
It is only 1 1/2" x 4" so I can stick it in my pocket. I used it in the garden this weekend to record what kind of strawberry plants were in which rows so I could write it down on my garden plan later. Anyone with a lot on their minds (isn't that all of us) would benefit from one of these. It was about $40 in a Radio Shack store in Wisconsin but maybe you could find one on sale. I bought it the week I stayed at the farm so I could remember all the details of the county & township meetings.
Organized I'm not, but at least now I have two brains as Eli said the other day, so that should help.

I loved mine when I was in college. Now I am thinking I should get another just to record what the kids/husband say and what I reply...:D I get so tired of "I didn't say that Mom" or "Mom you never said that"...lol
We had one at the Beach House we stayed at for years at Hilton Head, SC. It was great. The kids would leave messages like they were at the pool or bike riding etc...or we left messages for them if we ran to the store. It was a great tool! You will love it!!...debbie
Fantastic idea for anybody! I have several rows of "something" growing in the garden that I can not remember what it is. I told myself that I'd remember, but alas, until it grows bigger, I'll have to be stumped and hope I'm pulling the weeds and not the intended crop. I'll dig up my little recorder and use it for gardening. And, maybe make a garden plan. That'd help immensely!
Strangly enough I almost always remember were I planted what, but I could use one of those when going to the store. I never remember why I went there in the first place and then buys a lot of stuff I don´t need, just in case It might be the reason I went there :-) But I would probably forget it at home anyway, like i do with the written notes :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
We have gone through at least a dozen of them because Tom needs one and then he forgets that he left it in his pants pocket. And you got it, I wash them.
I like the idea of recording other people...haven't done that yet :-)
Now I know they won't make it through the wash.. I better keep track of mine.
